The competition between both schools was intense. The outcome reflected the close competition. Kilronan School won the senior and Sperrinview won the junior competition. The runners up were presented with silver medals and the winners with gold medals and a prestigious cup. The medicals and cup were presented by President Philip Orr.

After the competition both teams had lunch in the restaurant at the Leisure Centre.
